Hi,
You do not really need to install the software
HP 3D driveguard which is suppose to protect the drive against falls
The best idea for your machine would be to insert an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD in the machine which would make a great difference in the everyday performance of the machine
You could also upgrade to at least 8GB of RAM (max 32GB)

Hope it helps,

Hi, @Roma777
This is the driver I use for that device on notebooks that have either a mechanical hard drive or a SSD.
It just installs the device without the software to control it.
HP 3D DriveGuard
7.0.17.1
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp107501-108000/sp107654.exe
The file size is 500 KB versus the version that contains the controlling software which is 46.3 MB.

You should be able to manually install the driver as follows:
Go to the device manager.
Click on the unknown 6007 device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
The folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp107654.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for that hardware ID:
[HP.ntamd64]
%DeviceDesc% = HPAccelerometerDriverInstall.ntamd64, ACPI\HPQ6007

Hardware is hardware.
The driver should work on any notebook with that ID.
Did you try the advanced manual install?
To do that,
Click on the unknown 6007 device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and then at the bottom of that section, click on the Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk and browse to C:\SWSetup\sp107654\src\Base\accelerometer (setup information file) and see if the driver installs that way.
If that doesn't work either, here is the older version of the driver with the software.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81885.exe
Download and save, but don't run the driver.
Install the free 7-zip file utility. The first file at the top is for 64 bit.
After you install 7-Zip, right click in the file you downloaded and select 7-Zip from the list of items on the menu.
Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the file into its folder name (sp81885).
Once that is done, go to the device manager and manually browse to the driver folder that 7-zip created like you did the first time with sp107654.

The final suggestion I can offer before we give up on it, would be to try manually installing the driver that is provided by Microsoft via the Windows Update Catalog, that I zipped up and attached below.
Download, unzip and save the file, browse to it from the device (you should be an expert at this by now).
I've never come across this problem before where the drivers refuse to install for that device.
