Hello dear HP Team,
my questions is related to warranty. I bought a laptop from Saudi arabia. then brought to India. Currently I am residing in india. My laptop falled down accidentally from my hand and there are some minor damages on display. My laptop is under warranty. I contacted HP team in India and they said that i will not get warranty services in India because the replacement parts is not available in India & have to send back to Sausi arabia. My question is that i want to activate Accidental Damage protection immediately as my brother is giong to Saudi arabia next week. How can I activate ADP quickly? what are the steps to activate ADP? warranty is remaining 25 days. Pls reply ASAP...
specs : Intel core i5 6200u 2.3 Ghz // 8 GB RAM // 128 GB SSD // 1 TB HDD // WIN 10 64 bit etc....

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums. 🙂
I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Envy x360 convertible series laptop and has an accidental damage on the screen. I read that you have contacted our HP India Team already. You would like to activate the activate Accidental Damage protection on your laptop as your brother is traveling to Saudi Arabia and can get it repaired there.
I would like to inform you that if the laptop is pre-covered with the accidental damage protection then it will be fixed by HP under the ADP. If you purchase the ADP now then it will not cover the existing damage to the laptop.
Hope this answers your question. Feel free to keep me posted for any questions. Take care!
