Hello,
I have laptop HP Pavilion G6 (B6G30EA), CPU Intel core i7-2630qm with Intel HD 3000 and GPU Radeon HD 7670m -2GB.
After update OS from Win7 to Win10 my GPU does not work (installation of the driver is succesfull and it looks is working properly but AMD graphics never start). Is this GPU issue due to old version of CPU? (2nd generation is not supported in Win10), but my laptop is working enough fast - 4cores CPU + SSD disk. Is there some option to run it? if not, shall I return back to Win7 or 8?
Thank you for the answer.

Hi:
You should reinstall W7 or W8 where you can install the correct switchable graphics driver.
There is no W10 driver support for the switchable graphics your notebook has when running W10 and there is no fix that I know of to get the switchable graphics to work.

Hello,
Thank You for the feedback.
Regarding installation of older OS, can I use also Win 8.1?
I am asking for this because for my NB model I see on HP website available drivers only to for W7 or 8.
Thank you again.

You're very welcome.
You may be able to go back to W8.1.
Hopefully the AMD/Intel switchable graphics driver will work on W8.1

If you look at the driver pages for the g6-2200 and g6-2300, the above driver is also listed under the W8.1 driver section of those notebook model's support pages, so that is a good sign.
