Already had updated this BIOS, otherwise I couldn't update do creators update
Already managed to boot with legacy mode, I had to disable safe boot first.
I've also installed 17.7.2 driver update sucessfully.
But still, HP should solve this issue as many users have no idea what to do or can't even access BIOS.

hi.. managed to update the drivers using windows device manager by enabling legacy mode in bios before the update (as per the recommendations above).
now my computer works flawlessly. prior to this it was unable to detect my LG widescreen monitor.

I have exactly the same insue since 2018 /17 i have the notebook about 4 years and I can't use the legacy drivers option in bios because it asks me for an admin password and I didn't put any password on bios and my password doesn't works there so.......
and it lags as f.. hell i can't use anything related to gpu work because it doesn't uses it that's why when i changed the thermal paste the one in gpu was almost untouched XD nice hp
