I am contacting you because three years ago, the battery in my PC failed. HP did not provide the original batteries to replace it. I purchased a perfectly identical replacement battery from a third-party site because the in HP store it wasn't available. My PC and the battery work perfectly. I run every 40 cycles to calibrate the battery, which I keep charged between 20 and 80%. However, HP SUPPORT ASSISTANT still alerts me that the battery needs to be changed immediately. When I run the battery check in SUPPORT ASSISTANT or on the HP hardware check tool, an error message appears. ERROR ID Q4U2X1-97MC7X-MFPW2J-C0C423.
I need a solution. How do I disable that annoying error message? How do I let SUPPORT ASSISTANT know that the battery is the original one and it works fine?

The error message translation
The battery and the laptop's battery management chip maintain communication by way of the SMBus.
When there is a problem, the battery management chip provides an error message such as the one you are seeing.
You will need to replace the main battery with a genuine original battery.

Battery (3-cell, 41-WHr, 3.6-AHr, Li-ion) 920070-855
Here is a search for the genuine battery in the Google.it search page.
That is the only way to disable the error message that we can provide you with.
