Product: HP Notebook AY009DX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The repair and maintenance manual PDF file listed on the Ay009dx laptop support page shows 2 items listed under battery spare parts, 807956-. The difference appears to be one is a 3 cell battery that puts out 10.95v. The other is a 4 cell battery with 14.8v. Does this mean that I can replace my bad 3 cell battery with a 4 cell; or is it that there are variants of the Ay009dx that ONLY take the 3 cell 10.95v and others that ONLY take the 4 cell 14.8v? Id like to replace my 3 cell with the higher capacity 4 cell, but the voltage difference makes me wonder if things would go boom.
