Hi, I'm new here.
I have been searching up all over the internet with the problem I'm experiencing with my HP Envy laptop. The problem just happened yesterday. It was working just fine in the morning but when I came home in the evening and turned it on the black screen appears and said that my cooling fan is not operating correctly (Error 90B) and showed me these two options:
1. Wait for 15 secs and it will automatically shutdown
2. Press Enter to continue to startup and there will be minor problems happen
Things starting to get spicy when the laptop is actually slowed down all of the sudden (of course with the cooling fan problem), is it because the cooling fan stopped working or it's not working properly? I tried the steps I've read on the community (Defaulting the BIOS, hard reset...), none worked. Is there anything I can do or should I have a technician involved for my situation?
Thanks for reading.
Edit: I brought my laptop to my university and I went home by bus, I wonder if I have somehow damaged while sitting on.

Hi,
It could be that the fan has been somehow damaged and needs to be replaced.
What is the exact model or product number of the machine?
Here is how to find it

Hi! Thank you for replying. Here's my product number: 6ZF38PA#UUF (HP ENVY Laptop 13-aq0xxx)
By the way, is it possible for the replacing fan to be as good as the original one coming with the laptop? I'm afraid I will be purchasing a worse one (I live in Vietnam).

Hi,
You could first try cleaning the fan with some compressed air (while the PC is not on)
You can usually get cans in your local electronics store.
You could open the PC and clean around the fan and see if it helps in anyway.
You can try replacing the fan. You can search with part number online and maybe find original or good compatible one
Part number fan L53386-001

On page 39 of service manual you can see the steps to remove\replace the fan
