Product: HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3Y0AV)

Hey, 

I am wondering if I can increase the storage by adding a SSD into an empty slot but I don't know if my laptop has an available empty slot or do I have to replace the current SSD with another one of higher capacity? I tried finding the info from the product specifications page but I found nothing of use. I am also wondering if there is an empty slot for RAM.

If there are empty slots, can I also get some recommendations for the SSD and RAM units that I should add?

Hi:

 

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 SSD.

 

If you need more storage, you will have to replace the existing drive with one having a greater storage capacity.

 

If your notebook has an Intel core processor (which I believe the models listed under the 1A3Y0AV product number do), then the Crucial memory report indicates it can support up to 2 x 32 GB of memory:

 

HP - Compaq HP 15-dw3000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

 

HP only has the service manual for the original 15-dw0xxx model series available.
