Actually i take this ram (here's the link)
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct16g4sfra32a/ct20093164

and im gonna take a 8gb slot (total 16+8 gb ram) from this:
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfra32a/ct20093165

is the choose right? i mean, both the ram runs on 3200 mhz and i can use the dual-channel on them. Is the configuration OK?

thanks a lot for answers!

Go to the Crucial hyperlink below and input you specific laptop product name.

https://www.crucial.com/upgrades/hp---compaq/pavilion-gaming-16-series

Install two modules of identical guaranteed compatible memory.
That way you will, be assured that they will work as expected as soon as they are installed.

If you just add a single module not precisely like the other one you risk having only one of them being recognized as being present.

Crucial memory does sell memory and SSD products in Italy.

Hi,

i already have a 16gb crucial ram (the ram i linked up) and it run single channel.
im going to upgrade to 24gb by using dual channel at the same frequency (3200hz) 'cause the 32 one (16+16) is too expensive atm for me.
is it work?

If you won't take the time to identify your HP product, how can I help you?

I try to said you i already identify my laptot, i already buy a ram for my laptop few months ago (16gb ram, just see the link i posted) from the crucial website and it works.
I only want to know if the 16+8 configuration (with the SAME frequency) is worth (and cheaper than 16+16 config).
thank you for answering

Hello, I may be wrong but I don’t think 16+8 will work in dual channel. Your best following previous advice and get another 16. I’ve just done the same upgrade to 16+16, now working perfectly in dual channel and allowed intel graphics to work at full potential. Best wishes Al.

Hi, you were absolutely correct. Sometimes people need to be pushed to the previous advice by it being told it’s correct. Regards Al.

Hello, just got another email about this topic. Looking at the reply’s and I thought the chap was getting a little irate. I thought telling him to follow your advice was the correct thing to do while explaining 16+8 was not going to work. Regards Al.

Yes.

It has been my experience over the almost fourteen years I have been an Expert in this forum, that some people are just going to believe what they believe and not pay attention to anyone else.

All you can do is try to help.
