How do i know whether my laptop has an SSD slot? I am thinking of upgrading the disk to SSD, however not sure whether the laptop have additional SSD slot, instead of replacing current hard drive, I check the product manual page from HP site, however the information is not clear. Please advise.

 

The Model number is:-HP 15-bs009ne

Hi,

You can remove the bottom cover and check if the M2 slot is present on the motherboard. Sometimes it is missing in notebooks that came without M2 SSD.

If the slot is there you can install an M2 SATA3 SSD from your preferred brand and capacity

On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover

But can i know that is there any other way to know about the ssd slot rather than opening the bottom cover
