My laptop has started to shut down unexpected. The battery is only a half year old. There is a small orange led light showing when the laptop is charging and turns to white when the battery is fully charged. Sometimes the shut down comes shortly, sometimes lasting some time of use but the shut down comes abruptly i.e. there is no warning.

I tried the esc-key when starting the laptop but got the information to update the diaqnosting sw from www.hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags but did not find any update there.
