I have an HP ENVY All-in-One - 24-n014 (Touch) PC. The original power adapter was lost in a move. I purchased a generic power adapter (with all the correct specs), but it seems to be a problem for this PC. When I start up, I get three long beeps, and four short beeps. This repeated five times, then the PC started to boot, but I received a message on the screen stating that there was a missing or defective adapter, and the PC shut down. I went on the HP Parts site, and was informed that the adapter was no longer available.
I contacted an HP authorized service center to inquire about getting a replacement, but have not heard back from them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi:
Below is the link to the parts list for your PC.
The adapter part you need is:
730982-002 | AC Adapter - FLORA,120W EPS,88% Eff,19.5V,3P/RC Slim |
What I recommend you do is to go on eBay and buy a genuine used but tested and working HP power adapter.
Search by the part number.
The used ones normally come with the power cord, which would have been sold separately if HP had the part for sale.
