Hi
I moved to the US abd im using an adapter to charge my laptop.
I want to buy a US based AC cable compatible with my laptop ( hp envy x360 15bp1xx )

Hi:
You can use the power adapter that came with your laptop, but you need the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the power adapter.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook...

You need the power cord listed in chapter 3 on page 24...
For use in North America HP Part # 920689-001
You can order it directly from HP, but it is very expensive...$34.65
It would be much better to order the cord on eBay...
