I have just purchased a ProBook 430 G1 and installed Windows 8.1 Pro. I went to enable Hyper-V but it tells me I do not have virtualization enabled in bios. I boot the laptop and access the bios. It asks if I want to log in as guest, I select no and then enter the details with one of the windows account that it detects. But I still cannot change most of the settings. All the options are greyed out. Including enabling virtualization.
What am I doing wrong? How do I get access to enable virtualization?
Thanks,
Brad.

Hello Brad,
1: Please restart the unit and keep tapping f10 to boot into BIOS. In BIOS, please follow this path and set up Admin password:
Security >> Setup BIOS Administrator Password >> After Setting up the password, Exit the BIOS
2: Restart the unit and boot into BIOS once again and make these changes to enable Hyper-V:
Advanced >> Device Configuration >> Disable (Uncheck) "Data Execution Prevention" >> Enable (Check) "Virtualization technology" >> Save the changes by pressing F10 and Exit the BIOS
Reply with update.
