Olá, sou novo por aqui.
Tenho um Notebook HP Pavilion g4-1190br (ele é bem antigo eu sei) na qual supre minhas necessidades para elaboração de documentos e pesquisas simples na internet. É um dispositivo conservado e ainda gosto dele pela qualidade.
Gostaria de saber se existe algum adaptador de rede Wi-Fi que suporta 5G. Quero substituí-lo para melhorar a velocidade da internet. Vários modelos que pesquisei são incompatíveis com HP.

Unfortunately, since your notebook has a BIOS whitelist, you cannot install any other model Wi-Fi adapter than the one that came with your notebook.
If you want dual band Wi-Fi, you will have to use a USB dual band Wi-Fi adapter.
HP did not even offer any dual band Wi-Fi adapters in the model series, so you can't even experiment to see if one from a different model g4-1100 would work in yours.

You're very welcome.
Fortunately, they make some dual band Wi-Fi adapters very small nowadays.
I just bought this model two months ago...Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth.
