HP Notebook -15-ba113cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - after many years, I just got a new computer. I had had an HP Compaq Presario. My question: can I use the adapter for the Presario with my new computer 15? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jane

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand you want to know if the adapters are interchangeable,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you check your product specifications to understand if the other adapter would work?

While you check that out, here's what you need to know:

Power supply type on your HP Notebook - 15-ba113cl is:

45 W AC power adapter

And if the other adapter you have supports the same amount of Watts & has the same cable/port, it should work without any issues.

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
