Hello,

I need to add a 2nd ssd hdd drive to my laptop hp probook 470 g8. I have seen that there is an hdd connector on the MB and a slot where to put it in. Anybody knows where can I find the right sata cable and the cage for hdd?

Hi,

The best idea would be to upgrade the M2 drive to a higher capacity one, no limit. Or if placing a 2.5" drive I would place an SSD

 

 

The part number for the cable L22526-001

part number for cover l22534-001 (you could use some double sided foamy tape to keep the 2,5" Drive in Place)

 

You can try an online search

or HP parts store
