Product: OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-ae0000 (9J127AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Will a Samsung Pro 990 4TB with a heatsink fit in a HP Omen 16-ae0073cl, or should I just buy the one without the heatsink, and I wanted to verify there is a second hard drive slot.

I would get the one without the heatsink.

 

If you look at chapter 5, pages 31 & 32 of the service manual, it appears that the drive is inside a thermal enclosure, so the SSD with a heatsink would not fit in that enclosure.
