Add NVMe SSD toHP Envy x360 m6 Convertible aq103dx

Hi Everyone,

I am currently using HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible aq103dx model with the following specs : Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2712 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s).

Boot load time and the time it takes to open applications have become slow. I was hoping to upgrade the laptop by adding an additional SSD along with the existing HDD.

I am not sure if M2.2280 NVMe SSD is supported or SATA M.2 2280 Internal SSD.

Could someone please let me know which of the below SSD type is supported for my laptop model?

NVME is supported. Not easy to tell that, but this is the Manual:

See p. 38. If you look up the part numbers of the factory M.2 SSDs the 256 gig is a pcie/nvme type. So to answer you directly, either one of the SSDs you inquire about would work and of course you would rather have the NVME as it is many times faster.
