I was looking the video how to extend ZBook 15 G3 with SSD drive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdpSy2FUDWM.
But I do not have adapter cable. It is something standard or specific for HP? Where and how I can get it?

Try contacting this eBay seller. I bought a video card for my Zbook G3 from him and he siad he has most of the parts available other than motherboards and screens. Just post a question on one of his auctions or google his store in USA and he will actually answer the phone if you call.

I have the Zbook 15 G3. Mine came with a hard drive so has the caddy and cable. I replaced the mechanical drive with an SSD. The laptop also accepts M.2 mSSD 2280 NVME drives. Actually it takes 2 of those. What type of hard drive does your have now?
Download Service Manual:
Hard Drive Hardware Kit, includes: 848231-001 (3a) Hard drive bracket (3b) Hard drive cable
It's $28 when they have it but on backorder right now:
You might want to consider the M.2 drive in the meantime.
See p. 39. As I said there are actually 2 places to install an M.2 drive. Post back if you need more help.

Which cable? The white cable shown at the beginning of the video is for a card reader. The hard drive cable is at :34 into the video. So your laptop came without that caddy and cable? As I asked, what are you using for a hard drive now?

I gave you the part number and the link to the HP Parts Store. The part is very hard to find. As I said, if you want to install another drive you either need that caddy and cable or you can use a second M.2 mSSD disk. I gather you have already purchased the 840 Evo SSD so you need to install that but HP does not have the part. Where do you live (country) and we can try to locate a third party or HP Partner who has it?
