I'm wondering if my laptop can hold a second SSD? If so, what type? M.2?   Thanks!

Hello, what storage have you actually in your laptop?? Do you have an SSD, but do you know if it is an m.2 or SATA 2.5 inch SSD??

Normally you can't have more 1 m.2 SSD, but if you have already one m.2 SSD you can install a SATA 2.5 inch SSD. You just need maybe buy a caddy and connexion cable.
And if you have already a SATA 2.5 SSD, you need to verify if you can install an m.2 SSD.

Probably your maintenance and service guide can help you:

I have a 256 gb m.2 ssd and a free space for a 2.5 hd with sata connector and fixing screws that seem to be m.2. I would prefer to use another m.2 ssd if I was sure I could do it

Can I have a photo?? In your maintenance and service guide, I don't see any slot for install a second m.2 SSD but just a SATA hard drive or SSD (page 32).
