Hi!
I just got my new 14m-dh0003dx which comes with 128 GB SSD. Since it's less than I need, I want to add an extra SSD if possible.
I tried to look in the internet for videos teaching how to do it, but the ones I saw from HP x360, all of them have HD already in a case inside the laptop.
This model 14m-dh0003dx seems to not have a SSD traditional Hard Drive. I couldn't identify where is the HD actually. In the same place where the older models have the Hard Drive, there is some kind of Plastic piece with a Iron piece for having some kind of extra weight (this is strange):
This is the place where normally there is an Hard Drive, but in my case it is a plastic piece with this iron piece
Can anyone give me an idea if it's possible to add an extra SSD and which parts are needed for doing that, like the cable Model and the HD case?
Thanks!

You have the Manual already linked. You need one of these:
(1)Hard drive cover For use in models without a fingerprint reader L51121-001 For use in models with a fingerprint reader L51122-001
and this:
Hard drive cable L51095-001
Pages 31-39 in the Manual show how to place a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD into the hard drive cover and attach the end of the ribbon cable to a little zif connector on the motherboard. To repleat: the rubber cover and cable will work with a 2.5 inch SSD or hard drive but it has to be an ultraslim 7mm thick model. All SSDs are that slim but not all mechanical hard drives are.
I searched for these parts in my usual places and am not finding. HP Part Store does not have them. Can't find them on eBay or amazon.com, either.
By the time you find and buy these parts and a 2.5 inch SSD you might as well just buy a larger capacity M.2 SSD for which you need no additional hardware. If you want us to keep looking let us know.

@Richieri Welcome to HP Forums Community! Do correct me If I'm wrong but from what I understand, you've got a 128GB SSD M.2 Drive and you don't want to upgrade that, it's the Hard drive (HDD) that you want to replace with another SSD (except, this one is a SATA drive, not an M.2), am I right?
If yes, here's what you need to do:
Refer to Page. 42 Chapter 5 Removal and replacement procedures: Click here to access the user and maintenance guide.

I just upgraded mine to 32GB Ram and 1TB SSD. I did not worry about adding an additional drive and simply replaced the one that came with the computer. It was extremely simple to replace and please disregard the instructions from the manual for the 14M model. Those instruction talk about removing the keyboard and the 14m-dh0003dx does not have a popup keyboard.
Once you get the back case off (4 screw; 2 are under the back feet) the ram is under a metal shield and the m.2 SSD is held down by 1 Phillips screw. This thing is now working like a champ and I hope the upgrades extend the life of the machine.

Hi!
The point is that already have a SSD Driver 2,5", I don't want to buy a new one 😞
So, what I need is the "how to" for adding a 2,5" SSD Driver and which parts I need to buy since it does not come with the driver bracket, cables etc

@Richieri the steps I had mentioned should take you through the details on how to remove the existing HDD and replace it with the SSD drive, here's the link again: Click here also, if you could use CTRL+F and search within the service guide I had attached, you should find more details on Page. 42, let me know if you've already done that and still need help!

I purchased a custom HP Pavilion x360 14t touch with an m.2 256gb ssd. I added a 1TB sata ssd that I already had as a second drive by purchasing this sata cable
