I would like to add a second drive to this laptop.  I know I can change the hard drive, install a new SSD or whatever, but can I add a SDD to boot from and the original 1 Tb drive as a secondary drive?

I've seen lots of information about swapping out hard drives, and have watched a teardown of the laptop.  From what I've found out, I do not think it's possible to add a second drive, but wanted to get confirmation of that without having to tear the laptop down to look at it specifically.

Thank you to any one that confirm this.

Your machine does not have ODD (CD/DVD drive) and it has only a single bay for HDD. I MAY have One 2280 M.2 daughter board - optional support for SSD and the tricky thing is you have to open the machine to check.

If it does have tis option, you can add a 2280 M.2 SSD to it.

Regards.
