HP ENVY Laptop 17-ce1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to add a 2nd 2TB SATA HD on top of the existing 2TB SSD on my new laptop. When I open the case I see that there is a location to add a second HD. I order the case and cable, connect the HD with the cable, the laptop does not detect the HD. I ran Windows memory Diagnostic, to help detect large HD, still not able to find the second HD.
When I connect that HD to an external bay, I am able to see the HD.

I purchased and tried the following connectors, all unsuccessfull:
SATA Hard Drive Cable Connector SSD HDD Cable for HP Envy 17 17-J M7-J 17T 15-J DW17 6017B0421501

SATA Hard Drive Cable Connector SSD HDD Cable for HP Envy 17 17-J M7-J 17T 15-J DW17 6017B0421501

hk-Part HDD Hard Drive SATA (Long) Flex Cable Connector Replacement for HP Envy 17 17t M7-J M7-J000 Series, DW17 6017B0421501

Any help or suggestion greatly appreciate.
