I wanted to upgrade my 128gb memory and realized that there is no HDD, but an M.2 SDD, which is cool because I'm new to solid state drives! Anyways there is an open spot for a 2.5 sata drive along with an unused ribbon connection. I assume I'm able to add a HDD, so my question is, what are the part #'s for the parts I need to do this? i.e. rubber HDD mount, sata ribbon adapter. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,
At the moment you have an M2 SATA3 128GB SSD
The best idea would be to upgrade the M2 SSD with a larger capacity M2 SSD. It might be cheaper than buying the parts and 2,5" Drive.
You can insert an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD which would also increase the everyday performance of the PC. There is no limit to capacity. Something like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus would be the best, however much cheaper and slower Crucil P2 would still be much faster than any 2.5" drive.
Anyway if you want to install an 2.5" drive you will need
Hard drive cableL part number 51095-001
Hard drive cover for use in models without a fingerprint readerL part number 51121-001
THey can be expensive and difficult to find.

Hope it helps,
