I am working on space for my computer and trying to add space so i purchased an NVME M.2 ssd, but the M.2 SSD is not being recognized by the computer at all. I thought i may need to enable it in the BIOS however, there isn't any option to do so and i do not have access to the advanced option on the BIOS for this computer. The BIOS the laptop it's currently is running is insydeh20. Is there a certain way to install the M.2 SSD that I am missing or is it not possible for me to upgrade and used the M.2 SSD?

Page 43 of the users manual shows that the M.2 needs to be the SATA-3 type, not the NVME

Many HP manuals and part listing mention NVME SSD as options on laptop systems in addition or in place of 2.5 inch drives. It is not always clear in the description if you can use an NVME M.2 (M key) or an SATA3 M.2 "M+B key".
The difference between the M and B+M is explained here

the pictures shown in the users manual are the drives with "two slots"
Using an M.2 that is SSD and SATA-3 is not any faster than just replacing your 2.5inch HDD with an SSD the same size.
