My new laptop came with 8GB RAM. Can I add a 16 card, or do I have to keep the sizes equal? (2 8's or 2 16's)?

Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following configurations:
● 16384 MB (8192 MB × 2)
● 12288 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 MB × 1)
● 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1)
● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1)
One memory module slot (E2/A6 processors)
Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable
Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM in the following configurations:
● 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1)
● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1)
You can work out the combination depending on what is your machine.
