I am adding a 4th 8 RAm unit to my memory on my computer. It should be able to run in Dual Channel mode? Correct?

I have a second computer of the same kind.

Yesterday installed 2 16 MGB RAm nearest the processor and moved two 8 GB RAM to the remaining slots. Is this the optimal configuration? I am eager to accomplish Dual Channel Mode on both computers.

Thank you

As long as you install the same capacity memory in the same-colored slots, the memory should work in dual channel mode.

For example, if you have 2 x 16 GB of memory and 2 x 8 GB of memory, you put the 2 x 16 GB in the white slots and the 2 x 8 GB in the black slots.

Or you can do it the other way around.
