Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to increase my RAM from 4GB to at least 8GB.  Am I able to do that with my laptop?

 

4GB Samsung 2400MHz = Memory Slot 1

HP Laptop 14-dq0xxx = Computer Type

Yes, you can replace the 4 GB memory chip with an 8 GB memory chip.

 

Your notebook has one memory slot.

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual has the memory upgrade info.
