Adding RAM

Hi all,

I have a HP Pavilion 14-ce3511sa. I am using windows 11 and i have 8GB of RAM. I want to know if its possible to upgrade to 32GB of RAM or am i limited to 16GB?

If so, which type/model of RAM is compatible with my device.

Your HP Pavilion Laptop 14-ce3511sa (277W1EA) has one (1) memory slot that can take up to 32 GB of DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, N0n-ECC, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM memory.

That means you could choose to upgrade to one 16GB RAM stick, or one 32GB RAM stick.

That is great news. I have had a look around for one. The HP brand is a little out of my price range. But i was wondering if this one (link will be pasted) is a suitable alternative.

The Dell RAM, quote: "is for use in servers only", so that option is off the table.

I would go with Crucial, Samsung or Kingston RAM.
