Adding SSD & RAM To an HP ENVY 17-cg1003ca

Good evening,
Just orderd an
HP ENVY 17-cg1003ca (i7-1165G7) laptop which comes with only 512 GB SSD and 16GB RAM, would I be able to add the following;

1)- SSD; (Samsung V-NAND SSD 970EVO PLUS, MVMe M2, 500G)?

2)- 16BG 2RX8 PC4 - 2400 - SE1 – 11.?

I happen to have them from a previous laptop.

Your input would be appreciated.

The specs says it has

Memory, standard	16 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)
Hard drive	256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD and you say it has 512GB, that is a bonus

1. STORAGE: It supports dual storage with M.2 NVMe/SATA SSD + 2.5" SATA HDD that means no second slot for M.2 SSD, you have to add 2.5" SSD if you wish

2. RAM: You can upgrade to 32GB using the following compatible RAM

Yes, correct 512 Gb and some providers offer a similar model with 1Tb at a higher price.

STORAGE: I'm thinking of adding;

Is there a significant practical difference between the two types; M2 vs SATA SSDs and isn't it a good idea to have more than one physical SSD?

MEMORY; I guess I couldn't add/mix my 16 Gb 2400 MHz with preinstalled /existing 16Gb 3200 MHz, If I must, I'll likely go with; G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-32GVK RIPJAWS V Series DDR4 3200MHz 32Gb(16Gbx2) Memory Kit 32 2 DDR4 2133 (PC4 2133) Dram https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0171GQR0C/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_glt_i_N48VF551QEYKPG6GZD97.

The question is; are both RAM slot/banks occupied or only one where I would be able t just add another; 16 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM?

Crucial recommended (https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k16g32c16s4b/ct19815392) seem to receive some negative reviews about running slower at 2666 MHz than advertised/labeled 3200 MHz.

Any thoughts on compatibility be greatly appreciated.
