I want to upgrade my HP NOTEBOOK-15g-dr0006tx, by adding an additional 250gb SSD.
I know my Notebook is having M.2 Slot but I am confused whether it supports M.2 SATA (AHCI) or M.2 PCIe (NVMe).
I want to know which M.2 type SSD should I purchase.
Please, guide me in solving my query.

Hi,
It supports both types of SSD. Naturally, you should get the faster M2 PCIe NVMe SDD of your preferred brand.
something like the
https://www.amazon.in/s?k=sx8200+250gb&i=computers&ref=nb_sb_noss_2
there is no limit to the capacity of the SSD.
On page 46 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive
https://content.abt.com/documents/90195/15DA0046NR_manual.pdf
You can then either transfer the OS to the SSD (clone) or reinstall the OS on the SSD.

Hope it helps,
