Hello,
I just bought a ProBook 470 G5 which has a Samsung NVMe as a primary drive and an empty SATA bay.
So I went trough the appropriate user guide and found that first, I need to get a Hard drive cover which I can get with the Hard Drive Hardware Kit L00837-001. Ok so far.
I would like to buy and install the Firecuda SSHD 2TB (8 GB SSD CACHE), 7mm thick, but then I saw in the laptop user guide that available HDD for this laptop model are max 1TB capacity. Question may seem stupid but will the above described SSHD work or is there any capacity limitation in the BIOS/Hardware ? is it just because HDD listed in the user guide are the HDD that were suggested at the time the user guide was published ?

You can use HDD up to 2TB (higher capacity normally won't fit because thicker). 2.5" SSHD or HDD or SSD are ok.
