Product: Pavilion x360 14-dd0811nl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop has an M.2 SSD and also space in the case that seems just the right size for a SSD.

Questions:
a) What is, and where do I get, the correct SATA cable
b) SATA cable get connected to which socket?
c) What is, and where do I get, the correct caddy for a 2.5" SSD?

d) Anything else I need to know to be able to connect the new SSD?

You will need this:

 

(4) Hard drive cable L18218-001

 

And then a hard drive rubber sleeve...see pp. 23 of the Manual item 3.

The rubber sleeve I could not locate. However, you can use just about any soft hard drive rails to hold the drive in place. The cable is critical.

The rubber sleeve can be modified with an xacto knife to fit your opening.
