Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cw1507sa
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought HP Pavilion - 15-cw1507sa which has 256GB SSD and a free slot for HDD.

I got 2TB HDD and a connector cable for HP Pavilion 15-P series thinking it would work but it doesn't and the drive is not detected with this cable:

My question is what is the correct HDD connector cable for this laptop and where can I buy it?

@Gregg123 Welcome to HP Community!

 

I understand that the laptop will detect the hard drive.

 

Your laptop supports only 1TB hard drive. Please see the manual.

 

It will not support a 2TB hard drive.
