Hello everyone! How have you been? I have an Hp Laptop 15-db0xxx Product Number: 4BM05UAR#ABA with 8 gb ram. Can I add more ram to it? I would like to have 16 gb ram

The HP part number shown in the laptop parts list is 862398-855 and that can be 2400 or 2400T
Do not mix 2400 and 2400T memory. I suspect you have 2400T so open system up and verify the memory and check to see if you have an extra socket for the memory.

The parts list for your laptop shows a single 8gb memory stick. Your motherboard supports two slots but you should inspect it to be sure..
862398-855 | 8GB, 2400MHz, PC4-17000, 1.2v DDR4 SODIMM |
You should be able to find 862398-855 memory here
Please verify you have only a single 8gb and not a pair of 4gb by using
wmic memorychip get devicelocator, capacity, speed, MemoryType, formfactor, partnumber, manufacturer
from a command prompt. For example, I have all 6 slots used up and no space for more
