HP Pavilion - 14-ce0820nd

Hello,

My 256GB or so hard drive is getting full and I'm looking to replace or expand it. When I open my laptop, I find an empty slot where I'd expect a hard drive to be.

A bit of online searching informed me that I can possibly add a hard drive and fit it into that empty slot, as being demonstrated by this boyo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7OLU40J8Os

He connects the hard drive using what's apparently called a SATA laptop hard drive flex cable.

Now I'm having trouble finding one that seems to match my specific laptop (HP Pavilion 14 ce0820nd), so I'm wondering if and to what extent these cables are interchangable. Can I just use any HP Pavilion 14 cable of this sort? Can I use anything HP Pavilion 14 CE series? Or does it really have to be fabricated for my exact model fo laptop? The dude in the video refers to this link, with a cable that doesn't even mention his laptop's model, only the 14 CE bit.

Anyone familiar with any of this?

@p247

You can use SATA cable for HP 14-ce series. The series uses same cable.

Regards.
