I am using hp pavilion g6 laptop and wish to extend the RAM.
Existing RAM : 2GB, 1600MHz, DDR3
I purchased new RAM with below specifications:
New RAM : 4GB, 1600MHz, DDR3.
I have installed the new RAM along with old one but after installing my laptop is not getting on.
note : both RAM slots are working (tried with old RAM).
Issue is new RAM is not detected and laptop is not getting ON.

Hello
although the model may not be referenced here anymore, if you don't know which one it is, it will be difficult to help
however, if the new module does not work on its own, it is most likely incompatible
does the scan here work, what does it tell you?
we need the exact model of your computer, and the product number
To find it follow this
