Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0051wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to install an additional SSD in my HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0051wm and need some help determining compatibility - not sure how to cross reference and check if SSD will be compatible.  Any 2.5" drive going to work with my laptop? Also, I was wondering if I needed to purchase anything else for the additional SSD, such as mounting bracket and connectors. Thank you!

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) installed on the PC.

And your computer supports 16gb max. Click here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664 to know more about RAM and storage (refer to 1 Product description)
