Additional SSD slot?

‎I just bought a HP Pavillion 15.6" (model: 15-eh2085cl) , and I know it  already has 512GB SSD installed.

However,  I  need more storage, so the following information regarding SSD is required. 

- What kind of form factor does it use? 2.5" or M.2 ?

- What kind of interface does it has? SATA or NVMe?

- it is possible to easily install additional SSD when in need?

Hi:

HP only has the service manual for the older 15-eh1xxx model series.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

According to chapter 1 of the manual, there is only one M.2 slot, and it is occupied.

There are no provisions to add a 2.5" drive.

If you look at chapter 5, page 33 it shows a motherboard illustration with only one M.2 slot.

If you need more storage capacity, you will need to replace the 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

Thanks a lot for your kind answer. 
However, I wonder if your answer for 15-eh1xxxx also applies to 15-eh2xxx. I tried to find a maintenance and service manual for the new line up, but failed. Does anyone know if the same applies to new one?

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, the only way you would be able to find that out would be if someone had a 15-eh2xxx model series notebook, opened it up and can let you know for sure if it has one or two M.2 slots.

HP does not have a service manual for that model series yet, and they may never publish one.

The HP specs for the general model 15-eh2xxx model series do not indicate that dual M.2 SSD's are available like they do with other notebooks that do.

I would have to conclude that the 15-eh2xxx model series only has one M.2 slot like the older models do.
