Hi,
I want to know whether we have an extra slot for adding more hard disk to the laptop:
HP ENVY Notebook - 15-k101tx
I am looking to add 128GB SSD to my laptop to improve performance.
If yes, can you give me a documentation link (if possible) for more info?

You might need to open it up to be sure. This manual indicates some models have an M.2 socket (page 2):

Its specs

It does NOT have second slot for more storage. If you wish, you can replace its 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD with an 1 TB or 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD using Crucial MX500 or Samsung 870 EVO or similar on market today. For example
