Hi,

have the option of buying a 2019 spectre x360 13 inch  i7 8gb 512gb Refurb with mild cosmetic damage fully functioning

vs

2021 spectre x360 13 inch 2021 i7 16gb 512gb with cracked screen so touch not work but all else functions normally and good cosmetic condition.

be grateful for opinion on wether the 2021 that much better than 2019 to accept screen crack and loss of touchscreen functionality but gain 8gb ram…

many thanks in advance..

I would go for the 2019 version.

Mild cosmetic damage is nothing, if everything else is operating as expected would be the ticket for me.

You can update the memory for far less than the cost of replacing the display unit.

I have a 2018 Spectre x360 13t-ap0000 with Core i5  processor that I bought new.

It never lets me down. I had to replace the main battery last year and that went without a hitch, but I do have experience working on notebooks and desktop PCs.
