Someone please help me. Drive works pretty good but I didn't buy pretty good I bought great and that's what I need...

Hi:

 

NVMe SSD's do not use the SATA AHCI controller.  They use the separate NVMe controller.

 

Your Samsung 980 Pro will not run at its advertised speed due to the M.2 slot only being PCIe Gen 3, not Gen 4.

 

See the Intel specs on your notebook's processor...

 

Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 Processor (12M Cache, up to 4.70 GHz)

 

Chipset / PCH PCIe Revision Gen 3
