Microsoft Windows 11

Hello and thanks,

I have an HP Laptop 15 PC-dy2000 with an Alcorlink USB 2.0 card reader.

What is the fastest SD card (UHS-|, UHS-||) that can be used with that card reader please?

I mean, can I use UHS-| or UHS-|| SD cards, or does the USB 2.0 card reader dictate and limit the SD card's applicable transfer capacity?

USB 2.0 has transfer limits of about 57 MB/s, so can I, for example, use the Lexar Pro 1667x SDXC USS-|| card (that has transfer rates around 250 MB/s)?

I found this in my research:

[Content Removed]"When connecting devices with different USB versions, the data transfer rate will be limited by the slowest of the connected devices."

So I have to work with an SD card that's slower.
