Hi @Ando8243,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart Your Laptop:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary glitches with your keyboard. Shut down your laptop completely, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Check for Physical Obstructions:

  • Inspect the keyboard for any visible dust, debris, or physical obstruction that may be affecting the letter keys. Gentle cleaning might help.

Keyboard Settings:

  • Check the keyboard settings in your laptop. Go to 'Settings > Time & Language > Language' and ensure the correct keyboard layout is selected.

Update Keyboard Driver:

  • Make sure your keyboard driver is up-to-date.
  • Go to 'Device Manager > Keyboards', right-click on your keyboard, and select 'Update Driver'.

Toggle Filter Keys:

  • Sometimes Filter Keys can unexpectedly modify keyboard behavior. To check this setting, go to 'Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard', and ensure Filter Keys are turned off.

External Keyboard Test:

  • Connect an external keyboard to your laptop to see if it works properly. If the external keyboard functions correctly, the issue may be with the internal keyboard hardware.

Hardware Check:

  • If none of the above solutions work, it might be a hardware issue with your keyboard. Consider contacting HP support or a professional technician for assistance.

I hope this helps.
