Hello,

I have a laptop HP 241 G1 

I want to know which parts like :- Processor, RAM etc i can change in this laptop

I want to upgrade my laptop

You could replace the 2.5 HDD with an SDD like a 2tb size if you want.

 

The problem is that everywhere I read the maximum memory is two gigabytes. The manual indicates the memory is soldered onto the motherboard but that video shows two sockets.  Can you open your system up and see if you have two sockets?

 

If you have a 2gb Memory in one of the slots you can buy a second identical one and see if it works in the 2nd slot for a total of 4.  if it doesn't then you've lost your money.

Where you able to upgrade?

 

What BIOS version do you have?  Insyde F.34?  F.31 or F.11?

some users have F.34 but 31 is the only one listed that I can find.
