ZBook15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Brand new ZBook15, W10 Pro.  There is no way to program the buttons beyond some rudimentary setting, the middle button is the middle button, in the present configuration that is a scroll.  The middle button can't be configured to say "back one page".  There  is a touchpad manager but it is useless.  Going to device manager I see the various Alps drivers, and I see a Synaptic drive for and input device.  The Alps drivers are up to date.

For over $3K I expected a little more effort to make this an acceptable product.  This is almost a deal breaker.  What can be done?

Can the Alps drivers be deleted a different drivers be installed- like Synaptic?  Am I the only HP customer who thinks the Alps product is sub-par?  And there are no solutions?
