The battery in my laptop began having issues mid 2021. After dying soon after turning it on and giving me a battery health warning, I proceeded to ignore is as it would charge very quickly afterwards and return to normal productivity. However now it doesn’t seem to charge past roughly 74% and currently won’t increase over 36% being plugged in. Is there a simple battery replacement which will solve my issue?

If you are confident on operating your laptop, you can unscrew the screws at the bottom (be aware of screws underneath the rubber taps) and remove the bottom cover, in order to access the battery.
HP has a quick video on Youtube, here.
Hope it helps.
