Hello. I bought a new HP laptop (Model number HP 15-eh2018au with Win11. When I connect my phone to my new laptop, the phone only charges. I'm unable to transfer any files. I checked device manager for driver changes while connecting/disconnecting the phone, but I can't see any activity there. I saw YouTube videos but none of them worked for me. Need help. Thanks !

For Android 12
Make sure that you are logged into the phone before you connect, then click allow on the "Allow access to your data" dialogue that pops up, otherwise you won't see it, just as you are experiencing.
Once you have done that you should be able to open Windows File Explorer and view your phone's data/photos/videos, etc.
