Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My last question was, which RAM sticks would be best for my zbook g3. No one showed much interest in my question so i went ahesd and bought these RAM sticks....2 x new PNY Performance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL22 (Compatible with 2933MHz, 2666MHz, 2400MHz or 2133MHz) 1.2V Notebook/Laptop (SODIMM) Computer Memory Kits, so 2 kits totaling 4 sticks, the packaging said 32gb so I assumed each stick in each kit was 16gb.

I removed the existing 16gb sticks, (2 x 8gb) and installed one of the new pairs and it brought the RAM up to 32gb and the laptop ran fine. I installed the other pair, I have 4 slots, assuming it would bring it up to 64gb but my laptop started screaming at me, beeps and buzzers and would not boot up so i removed the last pair and the laptop ran fine again. The zbook is capible of handling 64gb, that's my goal, but obviously something went wrong.

Each one of the new RAM sticks say 32gb on the stick itself instead of 16gb. 32gb x 4 sticks is 128gb, If it was a 32gb kit wouldn't it come with (2 x 16gb) sticks and wouldn't the packaging say (2 x 16gb)? I still have the (2 x 32gb) sticks in the laptop so if the labeling is correct on the sticks themselves then wouldn't those 2 sticks bring it up to 64gb? Is it common for manufactuers to label their packaging 32gb when the 2 sticks in the kit are also labeled 32gb each?IMG_3274.jpg
